i was really taken by shirley conran. i am reading her book Savages before i go to sleep. well, because i become too interested to shirley conran, i googled her. And guess what i found? there was this list of her quotes. some came directly from the mouth of shirley, but the others came of course, from her books. she was famous of the line “Life is too short to stuff a mushroom”.
according to Ms. Conran again, “If you have no regrets, you haven’t taken any risks”. this is just another inspiring quote from the author of bestselling novels such as Lace and Superwoman. Meaning, we dont need to be afraid of taking risks eventhough this would mean of regerets in the end. Of course, we should avoid the ending part, but it is always good to take risks. This is trying ourselves of doing something that we havent done yet or we’re afraid of materializing. This is conquering our fears.
