whoever may have watched among you the third matrix- the Matrix Revolutions…? well, have you remembered or have the line “love is just a word. what matters most is the feeling that connects with it.” struck you- hard- to the bones…? its just so funny that i have this friend from college who was advised by her mother not to say “I LOVE YOU” always. She was accustomed to telling or bidding her friends goodbye from a long walk and say to them “I LOVE YOU” after that. Her mother emphasized that the essence of the words fades when you say it always.
then i came to the realization: yeah, somehow. we would always say things that we dont mean. and saying these things ALWAYS, means losing its meaning. it is always best, and dramatic at that, to say what we want when we deliver them at the right place and time.
but then, when i confided this with the person who always says ILOVEYOU, ILABYU to me, he didnt believe in it. He said that it is always best to remind or make the person know what you are feeling ALWAYS. be it in a right/wrong place /time.
so conclusion: it always depends. it is always up to the situation. we cant settle for just one if this problem occurs. we always have options and choices. we say it if we want to, we dont say it if we dont want to.
